Nicholas Tse came from a famous and talented dramatic family. When he was eight years old, he immigrated to Canada with his parents and his sister, studying at a private boarding school in Vancouver. Due to these past experiences, Nicholas Tse was brought up in a Chinese and English environment, which created his unique personality and attitude.
In 1995, he participated in a celebration festival's activity. In this activity, Nicholas Tse performed for the first time in his musical career life, and also because of this performance, he received a few record company interests in him.
To get Nicholas Tse ready for his musical career, his parents send him to Japan to study, letting him received an education on dancing, singing, playing instruments, and writing music, etc. In 1996, he was invited to perform at that year's award ceremony night.
Although he was new to this career, his performance was outstanding, due to his confidence and his musical talents, his performance was as good as any experience singers, if not better, which awarded him the applause of more then 30,000 people that were there.
Finally, in 1997, Nicholas Tse was announced to be a new singer in Hong Kong. This news was given a tremendous response. Hong Kong entertainment named him as "The Successor to Hong Kong New Generation of Music". He also had the opportunity to take part in his first commercial "Rice Burger". This commercial showed us an image of him as young, healthy and strong. Therefore, his TV main song, "My Attitude" was extremely popular among the people of Hong Kong. Due to this great positive response to the song, it brought us his first CD, "My Attitude".
Music has always been Nicholas Tse's life most important thing. His teenage dream was to be a successful singer and actor. Now, this dream of his finally became a reality. His aim now is to give a dramatic positive effect to the musical world, creating a new generation of music.
